Dear Colleague,
as you know, the membership to AIEAA spans from January to December of each year. Therefore we kindly ask you to proceed with the renewal of the membership using our website and selecting the most appropriate method of payment (Link).
In renewing your membership, please update your personal data, verify the information already entered.
The update can be easily done during the renewal of the membership fee; or, by logging into your profile, then to the "My account" section, and finally to the "Edit member information" sub-section.
Here detailed instructions on the membership renewal procedures:
1) Log in to the AIEAA website with your credentials and click on "MEMBERSHIP".
2) Select the type of membership fee (i.e. regular, reduced, etc.) and add it to the shopping cart and click on check out
3) Make the fee payment (via paypal or bank transfer);
4) Wait for validation by the administrators: the treasurer checks receipt of payment and validates the membership. It takes a few days for the payment to be received;
5) Only after validation will you find the receipt of your registration on your personal page (by clicking on the My account menu at the top right of the HOME page) by clicking on the "orders" button of the menu below your name.
IF YOU PAY THE RESEARCH DEPARTMENT/INSTITUTE: IT IS ALWAYS NECESSARY THAT THE INTERESTED PARTY MAKE THE PROCEDURE ABOVE!
Once the transfer has been made (for one or more members), an email must be sent to the treasurer (tesoriere@aieaa.org) specifying the data of the person making the transfer (department or institute), the amount paid (for the purpose of financial reconciliation on the AIEAA account) and the list of members for whom the registration was made.
The AIEAA Board reminds you that applications for the election of the elected President and members of the next Board are open.
The deadline for submitting applications is April 12th, 2025
All members who are regularly registered in the year (2024) and the election year (2025) are eligible to apply for the positions of elected President and Bard Member.
Applications must be submitted via email (info@aieaa.org) and must be supported by valid petition signatures, as specified in Article 7 of the AIEAA Statute:
For the position of elected President, valid signatures from at least 10% of the members, calculated based on the number of regular members from the year preceding the elections (i.e., 23 members).
For the position of Council Member, valid signatures from at least 5% of the members, calculated based on the number of regular members from the year preceding the elections (i.e., 12 members).
The Council encourages broad participation from members, both in the electoral competition and in voting, believing that this contributes to the vitality of AIEAA.
The elections will take place on May 12, 2025, through an electronic voting procedure.
Each member may support only one candidate for the position of elected President and a maximum of two candidates for the position of Council Member.
